ALRB’s Regulations Subcommittee Issues Updated Reports on Proposed Regulatory Changes
On February 11, 2022, the Agricultural Labor Relations Board’s Regulations Subcommittee updated and reorganized several of its previously issued reports of September 22, 2021, which set forth proposed changes to the ALRB’s regulations. The original reports introduce a proposed regulation regarding labor peace agreements in the cannabis industry; procedures governing requests for supplemental mandatory mediation and conciliation; revisions to the Board’s filing and service provisions to require greater use of the Board’s electronic filing system; amendments to the Board’s unfair labor practice and representation election procedures; and the elimination of gendered terms in the Board’s regulations.
